Staying with pets
Rules for guests staying with animals at Mountain King’s Castle hotel.
1. General provisions
At Mountain King’s Castle (the “Hotel”), guests may stay with indoor pets: cats or small decorative dog breeds weighing up to 6 kg (“animals”, “pet”), as well as guide dogs.
Decorative dogs may stay in a room with the Guest only with the consent of the hotel administration and after the pet fee has been paid. Without the administration’s consent, the only option is a guide dog, on presentation of a document confirming the Guest’s visual disability and a document confirming the dog’s special training.
When checking in with an animal, the Guest must read these rules and comply with them.
When booking a room, the pet owner must notify the Hotel administration of the intention to stay with a pet and provide details about it: breed, size, weight and any other special characteristics.
2. General conditions
The Guest must bring a special carrier (cage) for the animal and a bed or mat for it to sleep on.
The Guest must bring their own dishes for feeding the animal.
For the animal’s needs that do not require a walk, the Guest must bring a litter tray or other special pads.
Dogs must be walked only on a collar and leash. Walks for toilet purposes are allowed only outside the Hotel grounds; if an “accident” happens on the grounds, the Guest must clean up after the pet.
When leaving the animal in the room unattended, the Guest must place it in the carrier (cage) and notify the Hotel staff.
3. Pet owner’s obligations
Animals are strictly prohibited in public areas (the restaurant), even in a carrier.
It is forbidden to feed or give water to the animal from the Hotel’s dishes.
It is strictly forbidden to brush, trim (shave, pluck) the animal’s coat or to clip its claws in the room.
It is forbidden to leave the animal unattended in the room outside its carrier (cage).
4. Responsibility for the animal
The pet owner bears full responsibility for the proper care of the animal during the stay at the Hotel.
The pet owner bears all costs related to damage to or destruction of Hotel property by the animal. In case of damage, the Guest must compensate the losses in full.
All risks related to the pet’s behavior at the Hotel, including damage to the property of other guests and staff and harm to their health, are also borne by the pet owner.
5. Payment and room inspection
No later than the day of arrival with the animal, the Guest pays a fee of 500 rubles for each day of the stay.
At check-out, Hotel staff inspect the room. If the room has been damaged, the employee draws up a damage report stating the value of the property according to the price list.
6. When the Hotel may terminate the agreement
The Hotel reserves the right to terminate the agreement with a Guest staying with an animal, or to refuse subsequent bookings, if:
these rules are violated;
the animal behaves aggressively, inappropriately or noisily and disturbs other guests;
the owner did not notify the administration of the intention to stay with a pet when booking — in this case the pet fee must be paid;
the Guest refused to pay the pet fee.
